We provide comprehensive screening services which allow your patients the convenient option of completing an online pre-surgical history, or they can choose to complete a phone screen with one of our experienced staff members. We provide a completed patient screen, diagnostic testing recommendations and an anesthesia pre-op assessment report to your staff based on your facility guidelines and delivery preferences. SurgiScreen also provides tools to streamline the pre-surgical process: from surgical scheduling requests to creating a completed chart ready for the day of surgery. Our flexible service menu allows you to customize our offerings to fit your specific needs.

How do we begin using SurgiScreen?
Once a service level agreement is established, our implementation team will help you design your customized reports and service flow. We will meet with your surgical staff to incorporate their desired guidelines. Our implementation team will also train your surgeon offices to properly schedule surgeries and alert patients to the screening options.

Is your service HIPAA compliant and completely secure?
Yes, all patient data is fully secured and HIPAA compliant. Our screening staff is trained on HIPAA requirements and constantly monitored to ensure compliance.

How do you ensure accurate and complete information is obtained?
Our technologically advanced system and highly trained staff screen each patient according to your facility’s guidelines. Each screen is reviewed by a RN to ensure accuracy and compliance with your guidelines.

What about patients who need additional lab tests, consults or a physical exam?
Depending upon the level of service you desire, SurgiScreen will inform you of these recommendations, or we will facilitate the completion of these areas based on the service level you have selected. In collaboration with your facility, we can identify an appropriate physician/specialist and send the patient for further examination. We can provide details on preferred lab locations for your facility and give instructions to your patients for completion of labs.

What types of reports can you provide?
We can provide a full range of reports customized to your specifications. Reports can be faxed, scanned or emailed to your facility and to your surgeons’ offices. Here is a list of the basic reports we provide:
- Full list of Completed Screens including patient demographic and insurance information: 48-24 hours prior to surgery
- Medical History Report sent to your facility: 48-24 hours prior to surgery
- Anesthesia Report sent to your facility: 48-24 hours prior to surgery
- Nursing Assessment sent to your facility: 48-24 hours prior to surgery
- Contact Exception Report with details on attempts made listing who, when, how we tried to contact a patient: 72 hours prior to surgery if scheduling window allows

SurgiScreen charges a per-patient fee and bills you monthly.
