Marc Hollerbach, CMPE

With a keen understanding of process management and corporate efficiency metrics, Marc believes that the future of pre-surgical screening lies in leveraging technology to provide superior patient care. As an innovator in technology-driven health care solutions, Marc’s primary role is the continual development and refinement of SurgiScreen’s systems, processes and operations.

Prior to founding SurgiScreen, Marc was the principal in a number of successful company startups. These included several technology companies developing software for medical data capture & processing. In addition to his role at SurgiScreen, he is a principal of Anesthesia Revenue Management, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in anesthesia billing and practice management. He has over 20 years experience in medical informatics and a unique understanding of the challenges that occur when human processes meet technology.

Marc is a Certified Medical Practice Executive through MGMA and a member of HBMA & HFMA.

Yeong Tang, MD

Medical Director
As a leading anesthesiologist, Yeong brings his clinical experience and firsthand screening knowledge to SurgiScreen in order to ensure patient safety and surgical preparedness. In his leadership role as Medical Director, Yeong has oversight over SurgiScreen’s screening teams and provides experienced clinical guidance.

Yeong most recently served as director of anesthesia, pre-surgical screening services, at Beaumont Hospital-Troy (Michigan) and retains his seat as chief of cardiac anesthesia (Beaumont-Troy) and is medical director at Beaumont Macomb Ambulatory Surgery Center. He also serves as an assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesia.

Yeong received his degree in medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency as well as a cardio-thoracic anesthesia fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesia.

Kim Dobson-Smith, RN, BSN

Clinical Nurse Manager
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, Kim oversees all aspects of patient preparation, from screening and patient history review functions, to patient communications and facility coordination. Her 20 years of experience as a surgical and PACU registered nurse provides invaluable expertise to the SurgiScreen clinical operations staff.

Kim maintains a clinical role as a Preoperative Hold/Post Anesthesia Care Unit registered nurse at Beaumont Hospital where she also served as a member of the Professional Nurse Council.

Kim received her nursing degree from Wayne State University, School of Nursing, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and class Valedictorian.
